Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated 29 September 2026
How to cancel, what is refundable, and the one number it turns on.
Try before you buy. There is one free trial — 10 minutes, one per account and per laptop, no expiry, no card — just sign in with Google. It runs the real product — same modes, same answers, same overlay — and exists so nobody has to buy in order to find out whether it works for them.
Paid plans have no trial period. A subscription starts the moment the payment goes through, and the full quota is available immediately.
The short version
| Used more than 10% of the hours? | Then it is not refundable. |
| Something broken on our side? | We refund, up to 60 days. |
| Bought with a discount code? | Final sale. |
Hour packs
You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have used less than 10% of the hours on it.
Beyond either of those, a pack is not refundable. The hours are not a number on a page: every minute transcribed bills us immediately, and that cost does not come back when a payment does.
Hours never expire, so there is no deadline pushing you to decide. A pack you have not touched in six months is still refundable under the 7-day rule only if you bought it in the last 7 days — after that it is yours to use whenever.
Subscriptions
You may request a full refund within 24 hours of your first purchase, provided you have used less than 10% of that period's hours.
Renewals are not refundable. You can cancel at any time and your plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund part of a month.
The free trial
The trial is free. There is nothing to refund, and taking one never charges a card.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time. Email support@clearmyround.com from, or naming, the email address of the Google account the plan is on, and we cancel it within one working day. If your payment provider's receipt includes a link to manage the subscription, that cancels it immediately too.
After cancelling, nothing more is charged, and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. It then stops; the account and anything left on other plans stay as they are.
Hour packs are bought once and never renew, so there is nothing to cancel.
Not refundable
- Anything bought with a coupon, voucher, referral credit or promotional price. Discounted purchases are final. If a discount matters enough to use, it matters enough to decide before buying.
- Any purchase whose hours are more than 10% used.
- Renewals, as above.
- Plans deactivated for breaking our terms — reselling, or working around the one-trial rule.
One refund per customer
Refunds outside the "something is broken" case are available once. A second request is a sign the product is not right for you, and the trial is there to establish that without money changing hands.
When something is our fault
We refund regardless of usage or elapsed time, up to 60 days, when:
- You were charged twice for the same thing.
- A plan did not arrive or would not work because of a confirmed bug on our side.
- You did not receive the quota you paid for — the server was unavailable for an extended period, or transcription or answers failed for reasons attributable to us.
Tell us what happened. We would rather refund an honest case quickly than argue one slowly.
How to request a refund
Email support@clearmyround.com with:
- The email address of the Google account you signed in with
- What went wrong, in a sentence or two
We reply within 24–72 hours on weekdays.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the payment method you used — card, UPI or bank account — through the same payment partner that took the payment. Once issued, they usually reach you within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank. The plan that was refunded stops working when the refund is issued.
Before you file a chargeback
Please email us first.
A chargeback takes weeks, costs us a fee whatever the outcome, and reaches you no faster than a reply would. Filing one without contacting us first will permanently deactivate the plan and we will not sell to that account again.
If we have made a mistake, say so and we will fix it. That has always been cheaper for both of us.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here removes rights you have by law where you live. In some countries consumers have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase within a set period; where that applies, it applies.
Where you are asked at checkout to consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you are giving up a withdrawal right, that consent is what allows us to start your plan straight away rather than after a waiting period.
On your bank statement
Payments are processed by our payment partners — one for payments made in India, another for payments made elsewhere — so the charge may appear under their name rather than ours. If you see something you do not recognise, email us before contacting your bank — it is almost always this, and we can confirm it in minutes.
Questions about any of this go to support@clearmyround.com. We answer within one working day.
